Welcome The Cars The Tracks

Welcome
SimWorld has lifted the arcade racing car experience to a level never experienced before in an arcade environment.

Please visit our youtube channel  www.youtube.com/user/SimWorldAustralia
for all of our promotional videos.

Drivers can experience the adrenaline rush of a 7litre V8GTC or the Classic Bathurst Muscle Cars of the 70's tearing off bumpers, spoilers, bonnets, quarter panels and even the wheels if they try hard enough.

Race Simulation is one of the fastest growing markets in the world, re-live the days when an arcade was a social gathering of people that would interact in the real world. Come in and race against your mates!

Drivers can link up with their friends, select their skill level, choose a car that is available within the predetermined time and select their track. Once the selection has been made the simulators link up and the race begins while spectators can view the race from the spectator screen.

SimWorld is also committed to preserving and promoting the classic Aussie Muscle cars that are fondly remembered by so many Aussies showcasing the heritage of the V8 Supercars of today.

The Cars
Design Your Own Car
SimWorld is always interested in new cars that are easy to handle and great fun to drive especially classic V8 Aussie muscle cars. In general cars need to be older than 16 years since public release so we don't conflict with the registered design laws. We are happy to promote your car and abilities by way of monetary sponsorship.

Cars need to have the following attributes to make them suitable for inclusion:
  • Designed for members of the public in mind

  • Quality finished product - not a work in progress

  • Easy to drive, brakes work, plenty of grip

  • Good damage characteristics so cars can get totalled and are still somewhat driveable.

  • Templates

  • Older than 16 years unless authorised by the manufacturer

  • No manufacturer trademarks or logos that may be in breach of copyright laws unless authorised by the respective owners

  • We are interested in classic Aussie muscle cars, US muscle cars, Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari 308, GT style cars, Rally cars and Off Road buggies
V8 Supercoupe™
Our V8 Grand Touring Coupe (V8GTC) is powered by a 7Litre 700HP V8 engine that reaches 300km/h down Conrod Straight. The handling is more neutral and forgiving than the Aussie Muscle Cars. With the 900HP Bathurst Pacecar reaching 340km/h & 1200HP and 1600HP variants running up to 415km/h. Exclusively designed for SimWorld by the highly regarded legends at Team ORSM. Visit their website at www.v8gaming.com.

Aussie Muscle Cars
The A9X and XC coupes have been modified to keep up with the V8GTC within the same engine classes. They handle differently than the V8GTC and hold their own ground well against the newer cars.

A9X Hatchback
The A9X is 200kg lighter than the big XC Coupe and can outpace all the cars over the top of the hill at Bathurst when driven by the experienced driver. Modelled in honour of Holden's A9X Torana Hatchback that Peter Brock and Jim Richards drove to an all time record win at the 1979 Bathurst 1000.

XC Coupe
The arch-rival of the A9X was arguably the meanest looking car that Ford has ever built, the XA -XC two door coupe/hardtops. Fondly referred to as a snow plough by another Bathurst Legend Allan Moffat, these cars look and sound awesome on the simulators.

The Tracks
Design Your Own Track

SimWorld is always interested in new tracks that are of medium to hard skill levels. We are happy to promote your track and abilities by way of monetary sponsorship.

Tracks need to have the following attributes to make them suitable for inclusion:
  • Not subject to licensing requirements by "real life" authorities

  • Designed for members of the public in mind

  • Quality finished product - not a work in progress

  • Easy to identify driving paths

  • Full circuit visible and invisible barriers stopping cars from getting stuck in "out of bounds" areas.
We are interested wide country road style tracks with changes in altitude (hills/valleys), rally car and off road tracks and wild stunt tracks that launch cars into the air.

Joesville Speedway - Easy

This is a small speedway style track that drivers can enjoy the simplified style of racing of an oval circuit. Alternatively they can link up and cause total destruction as they charge around the track in all directions.

Orchard Lake Speedway - Easy
A larger speedway style track that has banked turns. We've discovered you can shave almost a second off your lap time if you cheat and cut through the pits. This track can get pretty exciting if someone is going the wrong way.

Jacksonville Superspeedway - Easy
A NASCAR styled track with steep banked turns. Great for unleashing the Black Mamba and reaching tops speeds of over 400km/h.

Bathurst SimWorld 500 - Medium
Based on the public roads around Bathurst this track allows the V8GTC to stretch its legs and gather up speeds of up to 300km/h. With the inclusion of a ski jump off the main straight the cars can experience 100m+ of air time resulting in some pretty classic landings and stoved in roofs. Proudly modelled by Stu Griffiths and Neil Faichney of Team ORSM.

Lienz Foothills - Medium
Based on the public roads around Lienz in Austria this track is very fast and dangerous not giving the driver much time to enjoy the scenery and sniff the roses as they wind through a series of S bends near the edge of a cliff. Proudly modified by Brendon Pywell from Bob's Track Builder www.bobstrackbuilder.net under license with ISI.

Lienz Mini-GP & GP - Hard
Based on longer section of the public roads around Lienz in Austria. These tracks when driven with a 1200HP car along with the motion platform creates visual motion blur, arm pump and sweat to create the authentic experience. If you're not careful you can drive straight off the cliff.

Toban Short & Long - Hard
Two very demanding tracks that require a high level of concentration with some blind turns that jump out and ambush a car and spit them out into the sand. Great for the F1 style cars.
